Before You Book

How renting works

Five steps, no surprises. Here's exactly what happens from booking to return.

01

Pick your trailer and dates

Every trailer lists its deck size, load rating, and exactly what your tow vehicle needs — ball size, connector, and whether a brake controller is required.

Booking asks what you're towing with. If your setup doesn't match the trailer, we tell you on the spot instead of at the counter.

02

Upload your licence

We need a photo of the front and back of your driver's licence, and you need to be 18 or older.

Once it's on file, your next booking reuses it — repeat rentals take under a minute.

03

Sign the agreement online

You'll get a link to sign your rental agreement on your phone. It covers your responsibility for the trailer, safe towing, and insurance.

Sign before you arrive and pickup is just the walkaround. You get a PDF copy for your records.

04

Pick up and hook up

We walk the hookup with you: coupler seated and latched, safety chains crossed, lights tested, tires checked.

We photograph the trailer with you so there's no argument later about what was already there. Payment and the deposit are taken now.

05

Bring it back

Return it on the agreed date, swept out and empty. We photograph it again and check it over.

If nothing's wrong, your deposit comes straight back. Late returns and dirty trailers cost extra — both are easy to avoid.

Bring this to pickup

  • Your driver's licence — the physical card, not just the photo you uploaded
  • Payment for the rental plus the refundable deposit
  • A tow vehicle with the right ball, the right connector, and valid insurance
  • Straps or tie-downs if you're hauling something that needs securing
